The Taney County Collector of Revenue is the elected official
responsible for collecting current and delinquent property taxes
for political subdivisions within the county which have state
approved property tax levies. The collector is bonded in the
amount of $750,000.

Office Hours
8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday - Friday
Year-End Hours (Dec 28 - Dec 31)
We will be closed Dec 24 and 25 for Christmas
7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday - Thursday
There is also a secure drop-box by the front doors of the court house
to drop off items for the Collector's office.

Responsibilities

Collects and distributes railroad and
utilities, real estate and personal property taxes for:
Schools: Bradleyville, Taneyville, Forsyth, Branson,
Hollister, Kirbyville, MarkTwain, Spokane and Galena.
Cities of: Branson, Forsyth, Hollister, Rockaway and
Villages of Bull Creek, Merriam Woods and Table Rock.
Branson Hills: Tax Increment Financing Dist. Tax
Branson Landing: Tax Increment Financing Dist. L1 & L2 Community Improvement Dist.
Taney County Health Department
Taney County Ambulance
Developmental Disabled (according to Senate Bill 40)
Fire districts: Central, Western, CedarCreek and Protem
State of Missouri: Blind Pension Fund
- Provides Merchant & Manufacturer Licenses to appropriate businesses or persons per RSMo. 150
- Provides Auctioneer License
- Provides County Liquor License
- Conducts delinquent land tax sale the fourth Monday of August each year.
